Hugo Boss 1928
Hugo Ferdinand Boss (8 July 1885 – 9 August 1948)[1] was a German businessman who founded the fashion house Hugo Boss. He was an active member of the Nazi Party from 1931 and remained so until Nazi Germany’s capitulation. His clothing company utilized forced labor drawn from German-occupied territories and prisoner-of-war camps to manufacture military uniforms for the Schutzstaffel and Wehrmacht.
The invention of the “size
The size was made in a workshop line, around 1860 for military. The industry has been essential for creating employment and a stable middle class for hundreds of years, far before ready-made clothing, globalization and soon to be humanoids.
After the European Holocaust prevailed with a conservative estimate loss of 10,000 European old school tailors, the bespoke fit demise seeds had been sown. (sewn) Retail and manufacturing was a growth industry in a world that was growing. Today the world is not growing except for some Moslem and Jewish areas. Since the demise of European tailors in two world wars, the standards of tailored fit have fallen to the lowest common denominator wrinkles from poor fit everywhere you look!
This loss is an opportunity for any TD. Many may think and hope for computer body scanners, but in the last 10 years none have been successful and are mostly hype. This hope is redundant with 15 minutes of our TDs qualified measures and design followed in 3-4 weeks by the first satisfactory suit. There will always be people that believe in reputation and people over machines.

Demoralized undetermined people do not show up nor stand out with formality, their expertise, nor their convictions. Democracy is build on excellence and freedom. Totalitarians hate this.
In our personal area of influence, disciplines strength to change their world daily. My purpose is to allow the craft of bespoke fit via Tailoringdesign initially, then handcrafting for the absolute hand made suite driven to once again to be an important value for society.
Tailoringdesign with the web is competitive simply through efficiency, lower overhead and results. It will create an awareness of mans strength and kindness in a world of AI and humanoids. I believe human contact, will prompt a market for TD with reputation for branding leaders. With national production, this also opens jobs to the career of being a hand tailor. Starting with various factory processes. Even if humanoids do some of the processes, it will be up to the TD to create the awareness of the consumer to see the end result. All the while opening up more hand crafted on premise work, that can be made on premise in a week. All these tailors need then need to do is learn to take designer measurements and to cut to serve their tailor and enjoy their own studio, as I have. As well the industry of suppliers of wool fibers from locally grown sheep to milling cloth in USA, to made to measure manufacturing in the Americas. After 60 years of importation of sizes, this type of tailored substance and personalization will be welcome.
Designers as good communicators will be an asset to bespoke tailors. This will absorb more qualified immigrants to work with new designers for local alterations, suit and slack making. A TD is self determined to prompt their clients self determination and friendship, to add quality to customers whims and ideas. This lends likelihood to the confidence of outcome of clients branding themselves with whole wardrobe packages.
